The normal, modern Christian is full of self-indulgence and that dulls the flow of the HOLY SPIRIT into his life.
They no longer practice a spiritual discipline in matters of dress, food, friends, entertainments and sports — not to mention reading material, movies, and music. They go places and “enjoy” things which are NOT Christian nor for the spiritual edification of their soul.
This Self-indulgence tells us that the HOLY SPIRIT is ignored and not listened to.
We urge all to choose CHRIST-CENTERED SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE and a submission of one’s Self-Indulgence to the WORD of GOD.
